ways you can help

Flag Retirement is the term used to define the proper, dignified way of destroying United States flags that are no longer fit to serve the nation.

How do you know your flag should be retired?  Sometimes your flag will only need to be cleaned to restore its original appearance. Regular cleaning of your flag can extend its life considerably. Flags can be machine-washed with a mild detergent in cold water. Flags should be hung to dry or laid flat. Do not fold a damp flag.

What if my flag is no longer serviceable?  Flags may be left at drop boxes in the Townhouse Restaurant, Ace Hardware downtown Oviedo, or our new box to the right of our front door.

Veterans Tribute Wall

The Oviedo Veterans Tribute at Oviedo on the Park was dedicated on Memorial Day, 2015. The Tribute is designed to honor and remember all of our Hometown Military Veterans in active service, having prior service, and those who paid the ultimate sacrifice. An annual Veterans Day Ceremony is held each year as we incorporate more names of our veterans on the Wall of Honor.  Located at Center Lake Park, 299 Center Lake Lane, Oviedo, FL 32765

Do you want to get your name on the Tribute Wall download the application below.
